The Intro Package
The Intro Package is primarily a self-paced course with access to the 1.0 Life Coach Training Materials and CTEDU events. It’s designed for you to go through the Essential or Academic Life Coaching materials to ensure you’re adhering to best practices.

Designed to be a complete starter package for your coaching career.
The Essentials Package
The Essentials Package is designed to get your life coach career up and running. You have your choice of the 1.0 Essential Coach Training Course, or the 1.0 Academic Coach Training Course, as well as to add a self-paced add-on, either Academic, Wellness or Executive. If you are applying as part of a university or college, most likely your team will go through the University Edition which is only the 1.0 Academic Life Coach Training Course.
- 1.0 Essential or 1.0 Academic Coach Training Course: The 1.0 Essential and 1.0 Academic are both 24-week cohort-based courses. These cohort based programs meet weekly and offers an in-depth introduction to coaching skills.
- Hard Copy Textbooks: upon enrollment, you will immediately receive access to the PDF version of the training textbooks and any relevant student workbook. Hardcopies are typically shipped within a week.
- Mentor Coaching: 8-hour cohort-based course meets the requirements of ALC, CTEDU, and the ICF for coach certification.
- Build Your Life’s Work: a 24 module self-paced course designed to be a step-by-step guide through basic business building activities. Sample business plans, workshop templates, contacts, and more are included.
- Add Ons: If you choose to take 1.0 Essential, you will be able to choose 1 additional add on: Relationship, Wellness, or Executive.
The Independent Edition also includes Business Building Assets and a choice of either the Executive or Wellness Specialization Add-on.
Advanced (Earns Professional ICF Credential)
Designed for coaches pursuing a full-time career as a coach.
The Advanced Package
The Advanced Package is designed for team leads and full-time coaches. For the Independent Practice Edition, it adds the Built Business Package and advanced certification options.
It includes everything in the Essentials Package plus:
- 1 Advanced Course: You can choose between taking CTEDU’s 2.0 Advanced Coach Training or Health Board course.
- 2.0 Advanced Coach Training Course: This advanced certification program dives deeper into Positive Psychology and advanced coaching skills while preparing you for the ICF Professional Coach Credential.
- Hard Copy Textbooks: upon enrollment, you will immediately receive access to the PDF version of the 1.0 textbook, and the 2.0 textbook. Hardcopies are typically shipped within a week.
- Health Board leads to NBHWC Certification: 8-hour cohort-based course meets the requirements of ALC, CTEDU, and the ICF for coach certification.

- An SEO’d Site. SEO is an important aspect of getting your site out there. This package includes consulting with an SEO expert and on-page suggestions and strategies.
- Featured in Business Mastermind Sessions. You also have the opportunity to be the featured demo on the Business Mastermind Sessions and to showcase your business on CTEDU social channels.

Professional, full-time life coaches typically earn between $100 to $250 a coaching session. Coaches who are just starting, or who want to coach on the side after earning an associate certification, usually start between $25 to $50 an hour.
The average annual earnings of coaches after three to five years ranges from $65,000 to $125,000.
The past few years has seen the growing trend of more universities and colleges hiring advisors specifically to coach students. Those positions usually earn between $45,000 and $55,000. These kinds of job options are becoming more and more common.
Other organizations often hire community support specialists or coaches to work within wellness fields.
With the value and importance of mental health increasing, life coaching has also seen a massive increase in awareness and demand. The fundamentals of the profession are strong and the growth in the past few years seems to be accelerating.
Like any independent business, establishing your own practice as a coach can be challenging. It requires not only gaining the skill sets to deliver outstanding coaching but being able to successfully market and run the administration of a small business. Most coaches start slowly, gaining a handful of clients while also working another job. It usually takes at least a year for coaches to start to build a practice of 10 to 20 clients.
However, the courses are built for you to start to market your practice after a month of two of the training.
Each tuition package includes training and certification as a CTEDU certified coach. The cost of getting certified through the ICF ranges from $100 to $500 depending on the training path and ICF membership.
CTEDU offers two payment options for each tuition package regardless of program length. The first is a 10% discount for all paid-in-full tuition packages. The second, a 12-month payment plan.
Coach Training EDU provides a robust learning experience through physical textbooks and advanced digital learning platform.
Each coach receives both a hard copy and digital version of the program textbook, making study accessible in any format. In addition, you will gain access to a private coach portal featuring week-by-week materials, including audio and video recordings highlighting the latest research in the field.
Coaches also receive access to an extensive coach library filled with worksheets, handouts, sample contracts, coaching demonstration recordings, exam preparation resources, and more.
Finally, to complement your coach training, you’ll also complete the Build Your Life’s Work business development course, which provides step-by-step modules and pre-designed workshops to help you grow your coaching practice with confidence.
Everything from your training, coaching assessments (10 required hours for ICF certification), hard copies of the textbooks, and certification is included in each of the tuition packages.
